About our club
Serving St. Johns, surrounding villages and beyond, Oldbury Park Tigers FC are Worcester’s first choice for football coaching and team football for young players of all ages. Run by FA Level 2 coaches we are a multiple award winning FA Charter Standard Development club offering coaching and team football for boys and girls from 4-16. Our focus is on developing young players in a fun environment so if you want to play football, make new friends and learn new skills and techniques come to the Tigers.
Oldbury Park Tigers FC is a non-profit making, community football club, operating Mini and Youth Soccer Teams in Worcester. We are based on the west side of the City in St John’s and began operating in 2001 from Oldbury Park Primary School, hence our name! We are ‘Tigers’ because that is what the first group of children wanted to be called!
Since 2001 we have grown from a few parents with an interest in providing some sport for our children to an FA Charter Development Club with nine teams and over 120 players currently playing safe, organised league football. We also run a FREE TO ATTEND open Development Centre on Sunday mornings at the Oldbury Park Primary School, Oldbury Road, Worcester, WR2 6AA.
As a club firmly based in our local community we also operate School Club Links with Oldbury Park Primary School as well as Christopher Whitehead Language College supported by the Worcestershire Football Association (WFA). In 2007 the quality of our planning and coaching was recognised nationally when we won the FA National Innovation award. We are always looking for new schools to link with so feel free to contact Liz Elston at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
